Procedure to hard reset a (now juniper) netscreen router:

1. push reset button for 4-6 seconds.
2. release for 2 seconds.
3. push reset button for another 4-6 seconds.

Connect PC to netscreen and surf to <http://192.168.1.1> at web browser. If you skipped the install wizard, you may login to ScreenOS Web UI with admin username &amp; password are both ‘netscreen’ by default.

If you would like to import a screenos config file,

1. Configuration -&gt; Update -&gt; Config File
2. Select “Replace Current Configuration” and select file, then click Apply.
