昨天替朋友把一些 server 軟件 sources 加入一套細小的 Linux distro 內，我選用了只得 58M 的 Gentoo 2007.0-r1 minimal x86 CD，連同其 stage 3 tarball 和最新 portage tarball，今次的 remastering 比上一次改 Ubuntu 7.04 簡單很多。

很久沒試 Gentoo 了，現在的 Gentoo 安裝光碟在啟動時，途中也有 graphical bootup 直至顯示 command prompt 來用家開始手動安裝。

而上次 Ubuntu 7.04 remastering，我把它的預設開機語言改為繁體中文，加上略為修改 Live CD 上所包含的軟件包，所以過程較 Gentoo 繁複。
