為了手機能在美國上網，出發到美國前，在尋找 [T-Mobile 的銷售點](https://www.t-mobile.com/store-locator.html)時，發覺好似美國各機場都沒有預付電話卡。因為這次我一到埗 San Francisco，便在機場直接上 Mozilla 安排的 shuttles。而最近 Santa Clara Marriott 的 T-Mobile 銷售點，也要走幾公里才有。

所以最後在出發前兩三日，決定經[台灣 AeroBile](http://www.aerobile.com/eshop/tw/%E7%BE%8E%E5%9C%8Bt-mobile%E6%89%8B%E6%A9%9F%E9%A0%90%E4%BB%98%E5%8D%A1%2C-%E4%BB%A5%E6%97%A5%E8%A8%88%E8%B2%BB-p-186.html) 的香港格仔舖寄賣點購買。因為經兩層轉賣，所以比原價貴很多。如果有必要預先在香港買卡，建議在出發前兩星期，直接在台灣 AeroBile 查詢和購買。不過 AeroBile 會幫你在出發前開卡，及提供美國號碼給你。

但如果到埗後，當天會到 Powell St.、Montgomery St. 一帶，可以在到埗後，到市內 T-Mobile 門市購買預付卡，最平的是 US$10。[2G unlimited data](http://prepaid-phones.t-mobile.com/prepaid-plans) 只需要 US$2 一日。

而 3G unlimited data 也只是 US$3 一日，但前提你需要有一部 1700MHz 的 3G smartphone，可是香港及台灣大部份 smartphone 都沒有 1700MHz (去美國後才買的 Z1 卻有 1700MHz…… orz)

T-Mobile 的 APN 是 internet2.voicestream.com / wap.voicestream.com / epc.tmobile.com。
